Carefully inspect your French door and see where the problem persists. Mostly the problems occur is loosed gouges, hinges and scrapes. To repair the loose hinges you can replace the screws with thicker and longer ones. This can be easily done with the help of electric drill. If the door or the doorjamb is broken then you will have to take out the existing hinge and place them in new spots. First take our all the screws and pull out the hinge. Then find a fresh spot on the door. The hinge should be near its old place. Then drill the new holes and cut the new spot for the hinge with the hammer and chisel. Now reattach the hinge to the door and use the other part of the crux to mark another location on the doorjamb. Reiterate the process of drilling and chiseling again. Then attach the other crux half. You door will now be able to swing liberally again. Mending gouges and scrapes is even easier. First of all clean those areas where deterioration is done. Now buy readymade wood dough and put it on the damages, let it dry completely and then cover it with wood putty (powdered form of wood). Use it by mixing it with water and forming a paste. When it is also dried then you can apply the paint again. If the door is coming out then you will have to take out the whole door out. A carpenter's glue can be used to make the cracks fine. Then make all the screws of the door tight by a drilling machine. After applying the carpenter's glue, make sure that you let it dry overnight.
